Poker Hands

In order from highest to lowest the standard ranking of poker hands is:

• Straight-flush - five cards of sequential rank and the same suit
• Four of a kind - four cards of the same rank and any other card
• Full-house - three of a kind and one pair
• Flush - five cards of the same suit
• Straight - five cards of sequential rank order
• Three of a kind - three cards of the same rank and any two other cards
• Two pairs - two different pairs and any other single card
• One pair - two cards of the same rank and any other three cards
• High card - all other hands

In games with wild-cards, five of a kind beats a straight-flush.
